Translation from one language to another is a way to make information accessible to people who speak different languages. It is the process of reworking text from one language into another to maintain the original message and communication.

एका भाषेच्या सहाय्याने निर्माण झालेल्या आशयाची पुनरावृत्ती दुसर्‍या भाषेत करणे यालाच भाषांतर असे म्हणतात. भाषांतर म्हणजे एखाद्या मजकूराचा अर्थ दुसऱ्या भाषेत रूपांतरित किंवा अनुवादित करण्याची क्रिया होय.
